The Two-Legged Girls

Jordan and Cambria. Best friends, worst enemies, depending on the moment. Literally.

They have given me more gray hairs than I will ever fully acknowledge, and they have taught me more about life, love, and loyalty than any other experience could possibly have attempted. Jordan is in 7th grade, and I am in full denial that Cambria is a freshman. It's fine, right? They are amazing. Incredibly talented, hilariously entertaining, and they keep me on my toes day in and day out. Whether it's volleyball, basketball, or golf (as of late), watching them do their thing makes me ridiculously happy! I cannot wait to see the impact they make on this great big world of ours! I love them with my whole entire heart, and I cannot imagine my life without them.

The Four-Legged Girls

Mae and Tessa. Best friends, worst enemies, depending on the moment. Literally.

They fight over treats and spare socks, and they are quick to attend to the other at the slightest yelp. They are snuggle buddies who don't like a camera in their faces, and they have taught me almost as much about life, love, and loyalty as my daughters. They are both rescues from the same shelter, and they enjoy the finer things in life - like sleeping with their heads on pillows while covered with cozy sheets and a quilt, having their water served to them with ice cubes in the summer, and expecting belly rubs on demand. As of late, they've become very dependent on Cambria and Jordan for their daily serving of scrambled eggs. You can't begin to imagine how my house smells.

Me

Fiercely independent, humbled daily, fueled by my people. Loyal always. Endless love for my girls.
